Yesterday my dad braved taking Molly to her first ever movie! They went and saw Cars 2! She woke up from her nap and I asked if she wanted to go to the movies. She was so excited! We pulled into the theaters and had this conversation:
Molly: this isn't the movies!
Me: yes it is! see!
Molly: Is this the REAL movies?
Me: yes
Molly: are you sure?
Me: Yes Molly, this is the REAL movies! See there's the poster!
Molly eyeing me suspiciously: ok.
Her first movie!
Standing in line with Grandpa!
Grandpa let her pay! She was SSOO thrilled!
She came home just SO thrilled and talked talked talked. My dad said she was good for the first half then got a little bored..but over all she did well!

I love that she didn't believe you that the crummy run down theatre was the "real" movies.
