So, today we went to target with my mom and dad. Molly likes to run around. PJ, my dad, Molly and I were standing in an aisle waiting for my mom. Molly walks in front of a cart, I grab her and say "Sorry, that was her fault". The lady looked at me and said "actually, it's YOUR fault, she should NOT be running around like this." Then walked off. I stood there completely dumbfounded. My dad made a face at her and PJ said "You worry about that with your kids". Molly just continued wondering. Then another lady came around the corner and said "wow, what a nice lady"
I stood there thinking, holy crap lady, I said I'm sorry, geeze! I wanted to say, Which would YOU prefer, a screaming kid in a cart, or a happy friendly kid that you might have to stop for a second. I mean seriously.
I've read stories from other people with experiences like that, but this is the first time it's ever happened to me.
Then, I thought about how my mom should've been there, or my bro in law Aaron, they both would have told her whats what! But, alas, they weren't and we all moved on. But still, I'm annoyed!

Yikes what a horrible lady! I hate people like that. So snotty and stuck up!
ridiculous! i get in people's way all the time without meaning to. was molly running around out of reach tearing things off the shelves? or was she staying by you not hurting anything? i wouldn't have said anything after sorry, either. i don't think there is anything you can say to people like that.
