Cake
In my Spanish class tomorrow we're having a party! We all signed up to bring something. I signed up for cake, I had BIG plans for said cake! Seeing as tomorrow is my birthday I was going to do half the cake saying "Happy Birthday!" and the other half saying "It's a girl!" (my Spanish teacher is having a baby!). Well. That just didn't happen. This is my first time EVER making a layered cake, and decorating a cake. This started out as a full sheet cake. It fell apart while I tried to put the layers together, so I cut a side off. By doing that I shrunk the cake A LOT! So..after much thought, I changed the cake to "Have a good summer!" and that is a pink sun in the corner.
needless to say..I think I'll stick to cup cakes!

I think the cake turned out cute. I hope you don't have to make your own b-day cake though! Make PJ take you to DQ for an icecream cake (so yummy!)
too funny! i've had cakes fall apart on me before, too. it's so disappointing when that happens.
why did mom tell me it's perfect? Did she forget who she was talking to?
