Friday the 3rd Molly and I were out in the back playing on her new swing set when I *thought* I felt my water break, I called my mother in law and she took me up to the hospital and sat with Molly. What the nurse did was test the pad I had been wearing to avoid leakage and it came back positive for water breakage. I got all checked in, sent Molly home with Marti, called PJ to come on down and my mom cause she left town that morning! I got settled into my room and was checked out, I was only dilated to a 1 and VERY closed. They started me on a little pill to help soften the cervix to get it moving. We did this every 4 hours aaallll night long. The next morning a new nurse came in, checked me out, and informed me that my water had not actually broken. yeah. I was SSOO worried they'd send me home but my doc figured since I was already checked in and hooked up he might as well let me deliver the kid. He broke my water for me around 10 am and man, that got the ball rolling! With Molly I had very little pain, and by the time the pain should've hit I had already received an epidural. This time however, I got the full labor experience. OUCH. However, the nurse, Chris (whom I LOVED and ADORED!) told me to "play" on a yoga ball, best choice ever. I rolled my hip and moved around with out exerting to much effort and it relieved a LOT of pain for me, not all, but enough I was happy. On top of that I basically bounced Benson's head right on down! around 1:45 I got my lovely epidural, called my mom to keep her posted. The doctor came in to check on me, and left us alone. I was only at a 7 by then..but all of a sudden I got a massive urge to push, Chris decided to check it out and BAM! I was at a 10 and READY to go! Doctor Baurlich came back and with 4 pushes Benson was born.

Molly has been SSOO good with him and the changes to her life. This morning she told me it was time to put the baby away, but other then that she has had NO problems with him. She loves to hold him and cuddle him and gets very worried when he cries! She is such a good big sister and has been very good for me since PJ has gone back to work. I'm very blessed she's been so great!
