Have you ever met another mom and thought "Wow, She is so calm and wonderful, I want to be like that" (even if you don't have kids yet, have you ever seen a mom and think "I hope I'm like that"?)
Well, Yesterday at church I was with Molly in the foyer during sacrament, there was a mother out there with me, she was with her baby and son, and obviously did NOT feel well. As I watched her sink I finally asked her if there was something I could do. She asked me to watch the kids and ran to the bathroom. I was more then happy to help, then her older daughter came and I gave her the baby and little boy so I could change Molly before nursery. As I was in the bathroom I heard this poor mom get sick I asked her again is there was something I could do, she finally asked to get her husband from the chapel, I was more then happy again. I went and got him and he was able to take care of her.
I'm telling you this, because even though she very obviously was NOT feeling well she kindly reprimanded her son for being naughty. Laid her hand on his shoulder and asked him to stop. Now, I don't know about YOU but when I feel crappy I am snippy and mean to everyone around me, including Molly. This mother smiled kindly and just asked him to stop. I was amazed. I thought to myself that I am going to try and improve my mothering technique to match the kind and quiet demeanor that this mom had.
Thanks for the example "Sister C".

It amazes me sometimes how wonderful people can be even in the most horrible conditions. It gives us mere mortals ;) something to strive for...
That is awesome what an example!! Thank you for sharing!
Would that Sister C happen to be someone I know?
